James Michael Rodgers’ imminent single, ‘Found A Reason’, is a bittersweet love note to his ex-fiancée. The story plays out in the streets of Berlin where they once shared a life, telling of a man who yearns to find an anchor in an uncertain world.

Forecast for the 12th February 2021, the single first hits you a tidal wave of pure sixties romance from the Van Morrison playbook, then pulls you back with an undertow of heartbreak that leaves you wishing to feel every trial, tribulation, and everyday joy more deeply than ever. The song begins calmly with blessings of love and layers of beautiful piano, cradled by an acoustic guitar . The bridge steps up the instrumentation to deliver irresistible power before the euphoric finish: a prayer-like declaration of devition.

‘Found a Reason’ is the first single from his upcoming EP ‘Pain of Being A Man’, due in June 2021. The four-song record is a homage to those caught in the painful struggle of finding your own moral path in the world.
